Houat
After leaving Quiberon by boat for 30 minutes, you will quickly experience something otherworldly. The exploration starts in Port-Saint-Gildas, a fishing village.
The island is not very big and can be toured in three or four hours by foot following the coastal paths. The landscapes are incredibly varied with creeks, cliffs and magnificent beaches… The beautiful Treach-er-Goured beach with its dunes makes a lovely stopping place. Further along, the walk to the Beg-er-Vachif point, in the west, is particularly pretty. The neighbouring island of Hoedic is also worth a trip.
